  Sandwich ELISA - Anti-C Reactive Protein antibody [C6] (ab8278)

  Calibration curve using a biotinylated version of ab136176 [C2] and ab8278 [C6] (labelled with stable Eu3+ chelate) in a sandwich ELISA. The mixture of antibodies and antigen (10 µl sample) was incubated for 10 minutes at RT in streptavidin-coated plates.

  The antibody used as its pair (ab8277) is no longer available, but the unconjugated version is as ab136176.

  Sandwich ELISA - Anti-C Reactive Protein antibody [C6] (ab8278)

  Sensitivity to EDTA. Serum samples with (dark blue) and w/o (light blue) Ca2+ ions were tested by two two-site combinations of anti-CRP MAbs. [C4] is sensitive to the conformational changes of CRP molecule and thus the assay gives no signal in the presence of EDTA. Sandwich immunoassay utilizing a biotinylated version of ab136176 [C2] and ab8278 [C6] recognizes the antigen with the same efficiency in the presence and in the absence of EDTA.
