| Gene Summary | The protein encoded by this gene is an endothelial cell adhesion molecule that interacts preferentially with the leukocyte beta7 integrin LPAM-1 (alpha4beta7), L-selectin, and VLA-4 (alpha4beta1) on myeloid cells to direct leukocytes into mucosal and inflamed tissues. It is a member of the immunoglobulin family and is similar to ICAM1 and VCAM1. At least seven alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different protein isoforms have been found for this gene, but the full-length nature of some variants has not been determined. Western blot analysis of anti- MADCAM1 antibody. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30ug of sample under reducing conditions. Lane 1: human Hela whole cell lysates. Use rabbit anti- MADCAM1 1:1000, probed with a goat anti rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit.
IHC
IHC analysis using anti-MADCAM1 antibody. detected in paraffin-embedded section of human spleen tissue. Peroxidase Conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody. The tissue section was developed using HRP Conjugated Rabbit IgG Super Vision Assay Kit with DAB as the chromogen.
