| Product description | The product of this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors, which contains several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor is a P2Y purinergic receptor for UDP-glucose and other UDP-sugars coupled to G-proteins. It has been implicated in extending the known immune system functions of P2Y receptors by participating in the regulation of the stem cell compartment, and it may also play a role in neuroimmune function. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene. |

Application
Western blot analysis of P2RY14 against human P2RY14 (AA: extra mix) recombinant protein. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% BSA in PBS for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (EM1710-54, 1/500) was used in 5% BSA at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:5,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
Application
Western blot analysis of P2RY14 against HEK293 (1) and P2RY14 (AA: extra mix)-hIgGFc transfected HEK293 (2) cell lysate.
Application
Immunocytochemistry staining of P2RY14 in Hela cells (green). Formalin fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 1% Blocker BSA for 15 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody (EM1710-54, 1/100) for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS. Alexa Fluor
Application
Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded lung cancer tissues using anti-P2RY14 antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 8.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 5% BSA for 30 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (EM1710-54, 1/100) for 30 minutes at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
Application
Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rectum cancer tissues using anti-P2RY14 antibody.
Application
Flow cytometric analysis of P2RY14 was done on Hela cells. The cells were fixed, permeabilized and stained with the primary antibody (EM1710-54, 1/100) (green). After incubation of the primary antibody at room temperature for an hour, the cells were stained with a Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-Mouse IgG Secondary antibody at 1/500 dilution for 30 minutes. Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; red).| Positive Control | Hela cells, lung cancer tissues, rectum cancer tissues |
